Projektet skal eksempelvis sikre en kategorisering af organiske gødninger mht. mineraliseringshastighed,omsætningseffektivitet og kvalitet, hvilket giver producenterne et bedre grundlag for valg af gødning, så der ikke overgødskes.
4.9. Planteforædlingsfonden
Planteforædlingsfonden har i 2014 anvendt i alt 8,6 mio. kr., jf. bilaget.
Fondens tildelte midler er alle blevet anvendt inden for formålet produktudvikling. Forædlingsarbejdet blev støttet således, at de 36 sortsejere, som er registreret hos Planteforædlingsfonden, modtog deres andel af de opkrævede afgifter som vederlag for udført planteforædling. Alle fondens indtægter blev således fordelt blandt sortsejerne.
4.10. Pelsdyrafgiftsfonden
Pelsdyrsafgiftsfonden har i 2014 anvendt i alt 33,5 mio. kr. jf., bilaget.
Under formålene forskning og forsøg blev der ydet støtte for 13,2 mio. kr. Der er tildelt støtte til et projekt, der har forsket i pels som et bæredygtigt materiale indenfor mode- og pelsindustrien. Det overordnede formål har været at udvikle nye materialeteknikker og metoder til innovativ og bæredygtig anvendelse af pels.
Størstedelen af fondens midler er anvendt indenfor formålene sygdomsforebyggelse og sygdomsbekæmpelse, kontrol samt dyrevelfærd. Her blev der i alt ydet støtte for 20,1 mio. kr., hvoraf de fleste midler er gået til Dansk Pelsdyravlerforening til bekæmpelse af sygdommen plasmacytose, som medfører øget dødelighed, nedsat frugtbarhed og dårligere skindkvalitet hos pelsdyr. Projektet har i 2014 bidraget med en yderligere indfasning af den nye plasmacytosediagnostik, således at denne metode nu dækker Bornholm, Sjælland, Fyn, Sønderjylland og dele af Midtjylland. 2014 har været præget af et alvorligt udbrud af plasmacytose omkring Holstebro, og det vurderes i den forbindelse, at Kopenhagen Diagnostik ikke havde haft mulighed for at håndtere denne spidsbelastning, hvis ikke indfasningen af den nye plasmacytosetest havde været så langt fremme.
